Adam J. Engler

Adam joined the University of California San Diego as an Assistant Professor in Bioengineering in 2008. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S.E. degree in Bioengineering and remained at Penn to work in the lab of Dennis Discher where he earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. Adam then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Jean Schwarzbauer's group in the Department of Molecular Biology at Princeton University.
